It's unusual to grow Chardonnay in Côte des Bar, where Jean Laurent is located. However, this hasn't stopped them from growing plenty of the grapes and producing some wonderful examples of Blanc de Blancs champagnes.
This specific Blanc de Blancs is blended from 4 vintages and aged a minimum of 36 months on the lees. It's this blend and ageing we can thank for the creamy, buttery tastes.
The champagne is highly regarded by 'The Wine Spectator' and has been awarded 92 points.
